Centrally located, Bridgewalk Bed and Breakfast is convenient to many attractions you will want to see while in this beautiful northwest MIchigan vacation area. Head north to Charlevoix for shopping, to admire the the stone cottages designed by Earl Young, or stroll by Round Lake. Continue north to Petoskey , the Gaslight District and Bay View. Harbor Springs is the next village, which leads to the " tunnel of trees"and on to Cross Village and the Leggs Inn.

A day trip to Mackinac Island is another not to be missed excursion in northern Michigan.  Crossing the Mighty Mac to take a ferry  from St Ignace adds to the excitement.  While on the island visit the shops, tour Fort Mackinac, Arch Rock , circle the island on a bike or walk the Bluff Trail.

Head out in another direction and stop in Bellaire for shopping, explore  the Grass River Natural Area, then stop for a bite and a beer at Shorts.   After  a short drive you will find yourself in Alden.  With cozy restuarants, galleries and shops there is plenty to do or just walk to the dock and watch the boats come in.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is another  easy drive from Bridgewalk B&B.  Spend the day in the park, first stopping for a picnic lunch to be enjoyed on the beach, on one of the bluffs located along Pierce Stocking Drive, or along one of the many trails.  Aslo near-by North Bar Lake is a sheltered area to swim.
