The foot bridge is the first step to the special charm of Bridgewalk. The bridge leads you across a meandering brook to the front porch where you may enjoy the rockers or porch swing in the shade of wonderful old maple trees.

A stroll through the maples will lead you past a hammock, through the grape arbor, and along the cutting garden to the deck overlooking the brook. The beautiful surroundings will draw you into a relaxing and memorable experience, as warm and inviting as a visit to the home of a dear friend.

Built in 1895 by James Cameron, an early settler and lumber baron, the Inn reflects the gracious appointments of a more elegant era: large airy windows, pocket doors, high ceilings, and woodwork of birds-eye maple, cherry and mahogany.

The parlor is a place to relax, make friends, or read in front of the fireplace. Guests may play the baby grand piano or listen to an old recording on the antique "Victrola" in the music room.
